THE HALL ASSOCIATION. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. At the annual meet'ng of the Kaipaki Settlers’ Hall Association, Mr R. Boyd presided, and in the absence of the secretary, Mr Roy Speake, through sickness, Mr A. E. McDonald acted as secretary. A unanimous vote of sympathy was passed to Mr Speake, and to Mr A M. Fisher, who also was absent through sickness. The chairman’s report arid the balance sheet showed that the year had been very active and successful. In conjunction with the Sports Committee, many events had been organised to help pay off the debt on the new sports ground. Great credit was due to these two committees for the progress they had anade in this direction. The election of a new committee resulted as follows: Messrs R. Boyd (chairman), R. Speake (secretary), J. Graham, H. Goodwin, F. Boyd, A. Fished- and A. E. MacDonald.
