LADIES’ GUILD

ST. BRIDE’S, OTOROHANGA. (Our Resident Representative.) The Rev. K. R. Small, acting vicar of Otorohanga, presided over a large attendance at the annual meeting of St. Bride’s Ladies’ Guild, when an excellent balance on the past year’s work was disclosed. Mrs G. R. G. Blomfiela was welcomed to the office of president, while Mrs C. S. Simmons was elected vicepresident and Mrs C. J. Prescott was re-elected secretary. The people’s warden, Mr G. W. L. Palmer, presented Mrs C. Hotson (at the parishioners’ meeting) with a valuable crystal bowl as a token of the appreciation of the vicar and vestry for the work she had achieved for the Guild during her extended term as president.
