OPENING OF THE SEASON. The hockey season was opened at Otorohanga by a competition between the A and B teams, the former winning by 7 goals to nil. The several clubs in the Otorohanga district are increasing steadily in membership, and a successful season is anticipated. The following is the ladies’ Otorchanga team to play Paterangi at Otorohanga to-morrow: Mrs Hammond, Misses M. Rogers, Urquhart, Holmes, Turner, Lithgow, S. Phillips, Still, Hunter, B. Still. P. Clark (captain). Emergencies, N. Phillips and S. Nicholson.
