A man saw a coat outside a pawnbroker’s, priced £lO, and thought he might dicker for it. He took it inside and said to the pawnbroker, “How much is this worth?” “Not more than £2,” the pawnbroker replied. “I’ll take it,” said the man. “Take it,” gasped the pawnbroker, “I thougl. ; you had come here to sell it.”
