HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited report: Sheep: At Frankton sale on Tuesday, owing to the eczema guarantee restrictions, only a small yarding of fat sheep came forward. However, butchers operating under the guarantee purchased freely, with the result that prices showed an all-round improvement for all classes. Practically no store sheep were offered. Cattle: A good yarding of all classes came forward, with a medium entry of ox beef, which met with keen competition and sold at slightly advanced rates. A full entry of cow and heifer beef was noticeable for an improvement in quality, arid values generally were also in advance of recent sales. Fat Jersey cows met with a better demand, whilst an average entry of boner cows sold fully up to schedule rates. A truck of mixed cattjg from Mr J. C. Carr, of Claudelands, averaged £B, while fat Friesian cows from Mr E. F. Peacocke, Ohaupo Road, Hamilton, sold from £8 5s to £9, and prime heifers from the same vendor made from £6 16s to £7 Bs.

Pigs: A smaller yarding of fat pigs was offered to a good bench of buyers, both baconers and porkers being in keen demand and sold at prices slightly in advance of those rulinglast week.
