Advice has been received in Te Awamutu that the tender of Messrs W. S. Goosman and Company, Ltd., of £2058 for stripping approximately 20,000 yards of earth at the Tahuna and Motumaoho quarries has been accepted by the Piako County Council. The contractors intend to use the large excavator which was engaged a short time ago in removing the bluff between Motumaoho and Eureka.
