They come off high country, and being one of the nicest herds in the district are stock that we can recommend. On account of Messrs James and Wj. T. Duncan, of Otorohanga, their Whole Herd of—--50 young Jersey and Jerseycross cows, mostly second and third calvers; due August and early September; and off very hard country These cows are in calf to Meadowland Flash Squire and a son of Combination Raleigh. They are descendants from butter-fat bulls from dams with records from 600 to 900 lbs fat. They have averaged just on 300 lbs fat. On account of Mr W*.
