PIG HUNTERS MISSING
ABSENT FOR A WEEK. (Our Otorohanga Reporter.) Two young settlers from Kio Kio, Messrs Annan and Hansen, left their homes last Thursday to go on a pig hunting expedition along the western foothills of the Rangitoto ranges. They arrived in their truck, which they left by the roadside at the foothills. Since then nothing has been heard of them, and their truck is as they left it a week ago. It Is feared that they are lost or have met with some mishap. It would be very easy for inexperienced men to become lost on these ranges, as they are very extensive, and for the most part clad in heavy forest.
