TE RAPA STUD. CATALOGUE OF PEDIGREE STOCK It is with confidence that Dalgety and Co. place before the public on behalf of Mr R. Chilcott, the owner and founder of the Te Rapa Stud, a catalogue of pedigree Canadian Berkshires and Tamworths. The sires of the Berkshires are Lucerndale Challenge and Branton Rambler (imp.). The sires of the Tamworths are all carefully chosen stock, selected for mating to produce first class stock. The .Te Rapa pigs are bred under natural conditions, running in grass paddocks. Tills is a very important point as far as the farmer is concern ed. When buying he is assured of obtaining a pig which is not only worthy of taking its place in the show ring, but which has been reared under conditions similar io which it will experience on the farm. This year’s offering is consistent with Mr Chilcott’s usual high standard. Rigid culling and expert attention to correct breeding has placed tlie Te Rapa pigs to the fore. We draw particular attention to the Berkshire offering, which contains a number of pigs sired by the recently imported Berkshire boar, Branton Rambler, which represents the latest improved type of English Berkshire. Mr Chilcott welcomes enquiries, and an inspection can be arranged at any time before the sale. MATAMATA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co.
