TE MAWHAI HALL
ANNUAL MEETING HELD. The annual general meeting of the Te Mawhai Hall Association was held m the hall last Thursday evening, Mr G. Daniell presiding over a representative gathering of settlers. The financial statement, as read by the treasurer, showed the Association to be in a sound and satisfactory state. The election to the various offices resulted in the following appointments: Thairman, Mr W. George; secretary, Mr C. Calder; treasurer, Mr G. Cruickshank; committee, Messrs W. Daniell, G. Daniell, E. C. Perrott, C. Kirkham, and H. Owens. A vote of thanks to the retiring chairman (Mr G. Daniell) was carried by acclamation, as also were votes of thanks to Messrs T. Rushbrooke and K. Wilson for their services as committeeman and secretary respectively. _ , ,
