WAIPA GUN CLUB
LAST SHOOT OF SEASON. The Waipa Gun Club held a shoot cn Saturday last, but owing to the windy weather the shooting was very difficult. A six bird eye-opener shoot was won by E. Bent with a possible, C. Wotten and W. G. Adams being se cond with 5 breaks each. In the shoot off Wotten won on the 4th bird. A seven bird shoot resulted in 10 entries. C. Wotten and L. Zimmerman tied with a possible and divided the stakes. The final shoot for the Tolich Cup resulted in a win by L. Zimmerman 19 out of possible 20. C. Wotten, second 17, E. Bent and H. Steer 14. The last shoot was won by C. Wotten with a possible, L. Zimmerman being second with 6 breaks.
This was the last shoot of the sea son.
