MOTOR CYCLE CLUB

REVIVED IN TE AWAMUTU. A decision was reached at a meeting held in Te Awamutu last evening to revive the former Te Awamutu Motor-Cycle Club and to extend its activities to all parts of the district. Mr C. Blomfield, a member of the former club, w;ho presided, said that it would be unwise to form a new elub entirely independent of the old club on account of the fact that the latter had had assets in the way of finance and plant at the time of going into recess six years ago, and these could well be used by the members of the new club. Mr Blomfield also read the rules of the former body and suggested several amendments for the> new organisation. After a considerable amount of discussion it was decided to accept an invitation from the Rotorua Cycle Club for Tie Awamutu cyclists to visit them during the. coming weekend, and it was decided that fourteen cycles from Te Awamutu would make the trip on Sunday. It was also decided that a general meeting for the purpose of electing officers for tht< coming year* would be held next Monday.
