TE AWAMUTU CLUB. The consolation bogey competition for Dr Hiskens’ trophy, played on the local club's links last Saturday, resulted in a tie between S. S. Preston and M. Tombs, each 1 up, and in the count back Preston secured the honours. TE AWJAMUTU LADIES’ CLUB. Finals of Te Awamutu Ladies’ Golf Club championships have now been played, the results being as followSeniors: Mrs P. Glanville defeated Miss Quin. Juniors: Mrs Howcroft defeated Mrs H. G. Babbage. A consolation medal round was won by Miss Germann, and the last C grade by Miss N. Storey.
