In Cambridge district as well as others parts of the. country, black lambs seem to be numerous, says the Independent. On almost every sheep farm they 'arc prominent. Mr W’. Hicks, of Maungatautari, has already had six black lambs from purebred Romney stock. There have been two sets of twins and three singles. In one of the sets of twins, one lamb was snow white and the other sooty black, an unusual contrast.
