TE AWAMUTU CLUB. The Storey Rose Bowl competition was won by G. Wood, who defeated E. Griffin in the final, 4—3. The 18-hole Stapleford bogey competition was played last Saturday, C. O. Edmonds winning, 26—12—38. The first round of the Archeen Cup contest, played last week-end, resulted: J. Burke won by default from J. Oliphant, P. K. Quin won by default from K. Macintosh, T. Dalziel beat K. W. Gibbs 2—l, S. Beedell won by default from, J. B. W. Roberton, O. North beat E. Kirk 2 up.
