OBITUARY

MR WILLIAM H. DAVIDSON. The death occurred, after a long illness (as a result of his services in the Great War) of Mr William Henry Davidson, at the Waikato Hospital, on the 25th inst. The late Mr Davidson was a member of the N.Z. Rifle Brigade, and was 44 years of age. He had lived in the Otorohanga district for many years, and only a week ago was a visitor to the town where his father, Mr Walter Davidson, resides. He is survived by his widow. The funeral cortege left the Presbyterian Church on Monday afternoon for the Otorohanga cemetery, where the late Mr Davidson was accorded a military funeral. The large number of settlers and returned men who assisted at the last rites was an indication of his esteem.
