BOXING

TE AROHA ASSOCIATION A well attended meeting of the executive of the Te Aroha Boxing Asso-,. ciation was held in Mr Manners' rooms on Thursday evening, when matters arising from the tournament held last Monday were dealt with, and all accounts with the tourney were passed for payment. The balance sheet showed a profit of £2O 0/2, which of course goes to the Municipal Band's funds. A letter of tranks was forwarded to J. Colledge, jnr. (Waihi) for a donation of £2 2/- towards a trophy for boys, 6st. or under, to be matched at the next tournament.
