ANOTHER BLAZE

LITTLE DAMAGE DONE ‘ FIRE IN TIMBER YARD The tinging of the fire bell on Saturday afternoon caused some little excitement which was soon allayed when it was discovered that the fire was merely that of shavings and sawdust in Mr H. Wood’s timber yard and that the blaze was put out before any serious damage had been done. The heap of waste material was near a building, but fortunately the fire was discovered before, any real damage had been done. Some men near by when the alarm was given rushed to the scene of the fire, and with buckets of water put it out before the fire brigade could reach the place.
