TE AROHA WEST
(Own Correspondent) A social and dance of a very successful nature was held in the schoolroom, Te Aroha West, on Friday evening last, in aid of the 5T.M.0.A. Funds for “ Our Boys.’’ Some 30 couples graced the floor, which was under the capable control of Mr 0. F. Mudgway. The dancing was thoroughly enjoyed by all present, the music being supplied by Misses Alfa Hamilton and May Monkley and Mr Eric Fielden. Daring the evening songs were rendered by Miss Mina Monkley and Mr Gilfin. A dainty supper, served by the ladies, was much appreciated. Dancmg was indulged in until 2 a.m., at which hour a host of thoroughly happy people dispersed to their homes. It is the intention to run many more dances during the ensuing year, and we hope to see all our town friends present when they may rest assured that a very good time will be their reward for a visit.
