TE AROIIA V MORRINSVILLE The Te Aroha team was expected to travel toAlorrinsville on Saturday to play the Morrinsville team a championship match, but only seven players lined out for the “ soda water boys,” while Morrinsville as usual had its full complement of men. Before fifteen minutes had elapsed Morrinsville were three goals ahead, but this lead was reduced by a good shot by Flowerday for Te Aroha. When half time was called the score had not been further altered. Upon changing ends Te Aroha ran right through the opposition from the bully- off, and Flowerday again scored From this out, however, the “Blues” kept piling on the goals as was only to be expected, ,but even then Te Aroha scored again before the finish. The result was a win- for Morrinsville by 9 goals to 3. The Te Aroha men, considering they only nnmbered seven, and played no substitutes, put up a sterling fight, and the result is no disgtace to the men who donned the black and white shirts.
