VISIT OF MINISTER OF MINES.
The Hon, G. F. Richardson, Minister of Mines and Lands, arrived afc Te Aroha on Monday evening from Paeroa, anl put up afc the Club Hotel. He was accompanied by Messrs H. W. North - croft, Warden ;,A. J. Cadman, M.H.R., Gordon, Mining Engineer ; and G. Wilson, Mining Inspector. Yesterday the party vjsifced the Te Aroha S.and G. M. Co' 8 new works, and also the principal mines at' Waiorongomai, and last evening received a number of deputations on various matters of local interest ; a full report respecting which will appear in our next issue. Hon Mr Richardson and Mr Gordon leave" by train this morning for Waikato and Auckland^
