The payment to Mr Dearie is again deferred for better information. Salary of Licensing Clerk prior to Ist January, 1887 (£5"), is disallowed, no power heing given to pay it ; as also expenses of Licensing committee meetings, not being according to law. The payment ot Chairman^ travelling expenses since Ist January, 1887, is not according to section 106 of the Counties Act, 1886 : this should be adjusted during the current half-year.
