At the salo of property yesterday in the bankrupt estate of Mr J. Goonan, fair prices were realised for the different lots offered. The most important item, viz., the goog will of 17 acres of leasehold land, 13 years to run, rent for whole term paid up, was knocked down to Mr J. H. Moore for £81. Mr W. Martin purchased a house and section at Waiiekauri for £2. The total amount realised by the sale was £136 9s. The cottage located on the land belonging to Emma Te Oari, was sold uiuler distress warrant for the sum of £20 to Mr J. IT. Moore. To-morrow night, and for sereral succaeling nights Mr and Mrs Foloy will appear in their entertainment " Foleys Festivities," in the Public Hall ; on Tuesday next, Queens Birthday sports will be hold at Mackaytown, whilst on Friday, 27th, inst., Messrs Herbetrs and Fitzgerald's celebrated circus will give an exhibition.
