In the House of Commons, Sir Hamar Greenwood (Chief Secretary for Ireland) stated that the Lord Mayor of Cork would be courtmartialled on charges of being in possession of a secret-police cipher code. [The Lord Mayor of Cork, with others, was arrested In a recent raid on a Sinn Fein "Court" in Cork.]
