■ A9HBURTON. There was » moderate attendance at the stock sale held at the Ashhurtou yards today. The Cut sheep totalled st>. p >, including •IXB wethers and 02 ewes. Kxce.pt for a few single entries, there was nothing which could be called prime, hut the best of the stuff sold very well. The market generally was easier. For a single wether 11. MeCosker (Wnhanul) got .Hi/11. ('.. Spencer (C.arrw) received 54/- for another. A client received 4.V- for three wethers, and Mr A. McMustcr sold It ewes at 4-1/-. For 11 wethers \Y. Jameson (Droniore) got :«»/!), and .). Limbic (Kyle) received the same price for 14. T. Kernieen (Newhuids) got 41/11 for 12 wethers, 47/TI lor six, and 40/- lor 12. .1. It. llegg (Wakanuil received 17/- lor 17 wethers, and 4(1/- lor a pen of the same number. Many lines were passeil at auction.
