PRICE OF PETROL.
FIXED BY GOVERNMENT. J'rrs.i A*.ibcialion. WELLINGTON, August 12. According to a "Gazette" notice, the Government has fixed the maximum intail price of petrol at Auckland. Wellington, Ohristchurch and Duiiedin, for Class A at #2/6 per case; Class B, 27/6 per ease;, at Napier and Timaru, 3,'J/and 28/-; at Wangahui, New Plymouth and Gisborne, 85/- and .'lO/-; and at luvercargill, 34/6 and 20/0.
