Minimum thermometer on grass during preceding 24 hours, 32.2. Wind, S.W., moderate. Cloud (0-10), 2. HainJ'all during previous 24 hours, nil. Bainfall to date this year, 16.578. Rainfall to date last year, 13.176. Noon. Barometer, 29.512, falling very slowly. Air temperature, 45.9. Wind, SAW, light. Cloud (0-10), 8. !.' WEATHER FORECAST.
Wind. —Indications are for variable and •trong breezes; northerly, strong to gale, prevailing at times, and backing by west to south after about 20 hours. Weather.—Weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain probable, and snow on high country. Barometer.—Falling, but rising after •bout 16 hours. Then the weather will probably become very cold. ,
