RAIDS IN AMERICA. By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. (A. & N.Z.) NEW YORK, Jan. 4. The Department of Justice announces that 4000 warrants for the arrest of alien Radicals have been issued, and more than 2720 arrests have been made. The department will continue the raids until every "foreign fiend" is seized. It is reported that the Communist Party has issued bonds, in order to raise large funds with which to overthrow the Government. SPURIOUS NOTES. (A. & N.Z.) NEW "YORK, Jan. 5. Secret Service officers declare that the Bolshevik Press at Petrograd is printing spurious French and British notes and American Liberty Bonds, which the Bolsheviks are attempting to disseminate abroad. MARTENS' ASSOCIATE ARRESTED Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Rec. Jan. 6, 9.20) NEW YORK, Jan. 5. Gregory Weinstein, the associate of Martens the Soviety Ambasasdor, has been arrested on deportation warrant. Weinstein is the leader of the Russian Communists in the United States.
