TO-DAY'S CASES. Mr S. K. McCarthy P.M., presided at a sitting of the Magistrate's Court today. Back to the Home.—"Let me off seot free this lime and I'll promise it won't occur again." pleaded John Kelly, who was charged with drunkenness. The accused was an elderly man, who was recently an inmate of the Salvation Army Home. 'You've been promising to reform lor 12 years now," was the unsympathetic reply of the Magistrate,"'and I think you'd better go back to the home." The accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, provided that he remained for Il> mouths in the .Salvation Army Home.
