FLYING THE ATLANTIC. SEAPLANE REACHES AZORES. By Cable — Preis Ateocialion-~CopyHfM. (A. &JS2.) LONDON, May 17. The United States seaplane NC4 has arrived at the Azores. She left Trepassey Bay, Newfoundland, at 11 p.m. on Friday. Her actual flying time "was 13 hours 15 minutes, giving a speed of 100 miles per hour. It is expected that she will resume the next stage to-night, arriving at Lisbon on Sunday morning. The crew will rest at Lisbon for 48 hours, and arrive at Plymouth on Tuesday. Seaplane NCI and NC3, which were accompanying NC4, have .not yet arrived at the Azores. NCI sent out s.o.s. calls at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and is believed to have got lost in a fog compelled to descend on the water. Four destroyers are searching for her. *JG3 is also missing. She signalled in the forenoon when she was flying off her course. - TWO MACHINES MISSING. (A. & N.Z.) HORTA, AZORES, May 17. The United States transatlantic flyer *JC4 arrived at 9.30 a.m. from Trepassey Bay, Newfoundland. The time occupied was 1.4 hours 13 minutes for the 1200 miles. Three machines started. LOST IN A FOG. (A. & N.Z.) NEW YORK, May 17. The Horta correspondent of the "New York Evening Sun" says the other two United States seaplanes, which are reported lost in a fog off the Azores, are expectd to pick up the course and arrive shortly. The conrse of the flight is being patrolled by United States warships and other warships stationed at intervals of 50 miles. They received hourly wireless messages from the seaplanes. NC4 made the trip from Trepassey Bay to Horta in 15 hours 13 minutes. Another report slates that NCI alighted on the sea 200 miles south of Fayal. ONE CREW RESCUED.
