TROUBLE IN NEW PLYMOUTH. Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 5. A dispute has arisen between the Borough Council and the tramway employees, resulting in the latter endeavouring to force the council's surrender to their demands by adopting go-slow tactics this morning. The Agricultural Show opens today, and the grounds are near the tram terminus. The council offered to increase the war bonus equivalent to the men's demands till the present award expires in August, but the men demand an increase in the hourly wases.
