MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS.
At present the special Medical Board which is sitting in Christchurch is "washing-up" the medical examinations of men of the Christchurch recruiting district drawn in the sixth ballot. To-morrow the board will examine voluntary recruits and on Friday and Saturday it will finish up the sixth ballot examinations. On Monday it will proceed to examine reservists drawn in the seventh ballot.
REINFORCEMENT DRAFTS.
The sending of weekly drafls of reservists from the Christchurch district into camp, to fill up shortages in the reinforcements, has now been slopped. Hereafter only the ordinary monthly drafts will be sent forward.
ENLISTMENTS IN CHRISTCHURCH.
Only two men registered for enlistment at the Chrislchurch district recruiting office yesterday—both after The Sun went to press. They are:—
L. S. Woods, 40 South Crescent Road, Spreydoiij farm labourer. W. Mapplc, 11 York Street, seaman. TO-DAY'S LIST.
Percy M. Dacombe, 121 Hastings Street, Sydenham, tannery hand. William L. Field, 22 Ramford Street, Woolston, .joiner. And four others, who desire that their names be not published.
