OVERSEAS CLUB.
MEETING OF CHRISTCHURC'H BRANCH. A general mooting of the Christebuich branch of the Overseas Cub tvas hel-l last night, Dr Jennings (vicepresident) being in the chair. Jt was decided to initiate a, movement to promote subscriptions for the purchase of one of or more aeroplanes for the British Government. On the motion of the chairman it was resolved that the branch express its entire agreement with the British Government's policy, as revealed by the recent speech of Mr Lloyd George. A letter was road from :., lady in the country expressing her gratitude for and appreciation of the services rendered by the club fo one of her boys at the front. The duly that lay upon members to increase the membership of the branch was emphasised by the chairman. The secretary of the Ladies' Committee reported on the part played in connection with "Our Day," and upon the arrangements that, had boon made to lend the Navy League assistance on "Navy Day."The secretary, .Mr T.
