FIGHTING IN AFRICA.
MORE REBELS CAPTURED. LOYALISTS FAIL IN AN ATTACK. PEETOEIA, November 26. Commandant Geyser captured four commandants and fifty rebels at Nyls : troom. It is officially stated that Captain Rutherford, with fifty men of Eslin's Horse and a hundred of the South African Mounted Rifles, attacked three hundred rebels in a strong position at Rondefontein, which was protected by rugged hills. '■ s Furious fighting followed. Captain Allan King was shot just after binding up a trooper's wound; two others were killed and eleven wounded. As it was impossible to dislodge the enemy, the lcyalists retired to Hamanskraal. Seven rebels were killed and several wounded.
IN THE EAST. DRIVING BACK THE ENEMY. "Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services. (Received November 27, 8 a.m.) LONDON, November 26. Tho Press Bureau states that the process of driving back the enemy in Nigeria and the Cameroons is being successfully continued by a Trench force under Colonel Mayer, in conjunction with a British naval and military force.-
