CONCERT AT EPSOM

FOR POOR AND NEEDY To assist in raising funds to aid the poor and needy of the Auckland district, a most successful concert was held in the Epsom Methodist Hall last Thursday evening. Music, song and story of a high standard occupied the evening, which was freely commented upon as being an exceptionally fine one.

Madame Grace Griffiths was responsible for the organising of the entertainment and was also accompanist. Songs were contributed by the following: Miss Doris Moore. Mr. H. W. Jessop. Miss Cecilia Pringle, Mrs. H. A. Keven and Mr. H. W. Jessop (duet), Mr. A. Lyon Griffiths and Air. A. C. Gracie. Other items were contributed by Misses Manning and Queenie Silk (piano duet). Miss Isobel Henricksen (recitation), Ngaire Tex Weri (recitation), Mr. A. C. Gracie (violin solo), Air. A. Lypn Griffiths (musical monologue).
