PIANO STUDENTS’ MEETING

The Auckland Piano Students’ Association held an enjoyable meeting in the Lewis Eady Buildings last evening. Miss Joyce Parker presided. Members played items of their own selection. These included: “Impromptu No. 2” (Schubert), Miss C. Martin: “Polish Dance” (Scharwenka), Miss Cleave; “Naila Waltz” (Delibes), Miss Walker: “Waltz No. 3” (Coler-idge-Taylor). Miss E. Carr; HErotikon” (Sjogren), Miss P. Wallace. A proposal that groups should be formed for specialised study was enthusiastically received and adopted.
