DR. GUNSON HONOURED
ELECTED AN F.R.C.P. COVETED DISTINCTION Reed. Noon. LONDON, Wednesday. Dr. E. B. Gunson, of Auckland, has
been elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. The Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians is a high honour indeed. Prior to Dr. Gunson’s election, there was only one Fellow in New Zealand—Professor D. W. Carmalt Jones, of the Otago University Medical School. Members of the profession, and the public generally, will rejoice that Dr. Gunson has been so honoured. The Royal College of Physicians was founded by Tlenry VIII. in 1518. Thomas Linacre was its first president. Fellows of the college are elected from the members in recognition of professional distinction.
