PEDESTRIAN KILLED
FARMER STANDS TRIAL From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON. Today. August Herman Demler, a middleaged farmer, was charged with negligently driving a motor-car so as to cause the death of Norman Stephen Bradley, of Te Rapa, on April 12, at the Supreme Court. Hamilton today. Evidence showed that Bradley was walking along the grass margin of the road and stepped out suddenly, being struck by the car. Demler was driving at a moderate speed but his footbrake wa;i out of order. (Proceeding.)
