TRUCK DERAILED
ACCIDENT ON SOUTH LINE From Oar Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A truck with a load of five tons of oysters, in the centre of a mixed train from Taumarunui, jumped the lines a mile south of Frankton today. It was dragged three-quarters of a mile before striking the cattle stops at a crossing. The impact broke the front wheel and axle of the truck. Passengers, mails and luggage were transferred to the station by bus. There was no material damage and the lii.-e was cleared immediately before there could be any disorganisation of traffic.
