BASIN BOILED DRY

A basin boiled dry when an electric cooker was loft switched on at a home cookery in Queen Street, near Customs Street, last evening, and caused smoke in the shop. The City Fir© Brigade was summoned at 10.26 p.m., but found nothing at all serious. No damage was done.
