LICENCE REVENUE LOST

The attention of the Mount Albert Borough Council was drawn by Mr. B. Brigham last evening to the loss of revenue each year through the absence of greater facilities in the borough for the issue of drivers’ licences. Mr. Brigham said many Mount Albert people were not aware that licences could be obtained from the council office, and so went to the office in the City.

The council agreed to keep its office open from 5 p.m‘. to 6 p.m: within two weeks of the date when licences are due, for future issues.
