NEW MASONIC TEMPLE

PAPATOETOE LODGE The laying of the foundation-stone of the Temple for the Papatoetoe Masonic Lodge, No. 227, will be performed by M. Wor. Brq. Oliver Nicholson, Provincial Grand Master, P.G.M., at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The building estimated to cost £l.llO. will be of concrete blocks, with an outer surface of roughcast. Entrance to the hall will be gained through an ante-room, with accommodation for cloak and candidates’ rooms. The lodge room, 30ft by 40ft. will be panelled in rimu to door height, and then will have white plaster to the ceiling, which will be of the dome pattern in plaster. In the rear of the lodge room will be the refectory, 23ft by 30ft. and a kitchen of Bft by 15ft
