CHOOSE YOUR PARTNERS
This is rather a jolly way to begin a party when there are a lot of you. I and you are all going to play games j afterward; and, incidentally. It gets you { all introduced to each other. You can j choose your partners for anything, any i game, or for tea or supper, or dancing. | or double hide-an-seek. where a couple j hide together and have to keep together ; But, first of all you must find your partner for the afternoon- There are two hats, and in each of these yon put the names of characters from a book or from history, or from nursery rhymes and fairy tales. They must ! be in pairs, like Dick Whittington and | his Cat, Darby and Joan, David Copj perfieid and Dora. etc. j The girls take the slip from one hat j reserved for them, and the boys the | slips from the other. They all look at 1 their slips and then find their partners.
