MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB A medal handicap over 36 holes for the Gardner Cup will be played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club at the Titirangi links*on Tuesday. In the afternoon there will also be a medal handicap of 18 holes for the Rendell Vase. Partners for both events will be drawn. A four-ball bogey handicap over 30 holes will be played at the Maungakiekie links on Tuesday, opponents to be drawn. AKARANA LADIES Members of the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club played a four-ball best-ball bogey competition yesterday, the win. ners being Mrs. Goldwater and Mrs. Balgarnie, with a score of 6 up. Mrs. Cooke and Mrs. Taylor, 4 up, were second. Following were the best cards returned in the medal round:—Seniors: Miss G. Parr, 95, 22 —73; Mrs. O’Leary, 89, 15—74; Mrs. Grierson, 95. 18—77; Mrs. Caughey, 100, 22 —78; Mrs. Neale, 102, 24—78. Juniors: Mrs. B. Cooke, 101, 32 —69; Miss M. Peet, 103. 25—78: Mrs. Grant, 106, 2S—7B; Mrs. England, 115, 36—79. The C grade match postponed from last Tuesday will be played next Wednesday.
