WAIKATO SHOW
BUILDINGS CROWDED IMPROVEMENT IN WEATHER HAMILTON, Friday. The attendance at the Waikato Winter Show today was better than on the preceding days, the fine weather, no doubt, being responsible for the increase in visitors. The exhibition buildings were crowded with visitors from far and near. The takings for the first three days were £S2O, as against £9S9 for the same period last year. The school choir competitions today aroused great interest, and the judge, Mr. E. Varley Hudson, of Auckland, expressed great pleasure at the high standard of singing shown by the children. School children in the Hamilton district will have a whole holiday on Monday; as a result of the request made by the Governor-General.
