CRASH INTO SEA
MONOPLANE NOSE-DIVES AND KILLS TWO TRAGEDY IN COSTA RICA United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright MEXICO CITY, Sunday. Tragedy attended an attempted nonstop flight from Cerroloco. Mexico, to Buenos Aires today by Colonel Fablo Sidar and his co-pilot, Lieutenant Rovirosa. both of whom were killed. The fliers were within about three miles of the port of Limon, Costa Rica, north of Panama, when their machine, a large silver and gold monoplane, nose-dived into the Caribbean Sea. The airmen bad endeavoured to land at Limon to evade a storm, but the monoplane crashed in shallow water, and was destroyed. Colonel Sidar jumped out. but was killed, his companion perishing in the machine. The former was a popular flier, and his loss is mourned in Mexico City. A mechanic was to have accompanied the two officers, but notwithstanding his protests he was left behind in order to save weight.
FIVE KILLED
REVOLUTIONIST AMONG PASSENGERS Reed. 9.5 a.m. TOKYO, Monday. Siqueria Campo, the famous Brazil ian revolutionist, and four others were killed while flying from Monte Video to Rio. Campos was travelling under an assumed name and there was a great sensation throughout South American cities when his identity was learned.
