ANGLICAN LADIES’ GUILD ARRANGES FUNCTION happy evening at raetihi The annual dance for the children, arranged by the Anglican Ladies’ Guild, was held in the Drill Hall, Raetihi, on Friday, and proved a most successful and happy evening. Mr. McPherson and the staff of the public school were in charge of the floor Miss Taylor acted as judge, and the Mayor, Mr. H. W. Littlewood. presented the prizes. The vicar, the Rev. L. Barnes, thanked all who had assisted to make tho evening such a success. Supper was provided by the ladies* guild. The prizewinners were: Best costume, girl under 6, D. Pro.ud, Turkish lady; boy under 6, W. Watson, carnival girl; girl under 11. Connie Barakat, Maori girl; boy under 11, Jack Moorn <T.
