BOWLING MATCH
AUCKLAND V. REMUERA The president and members of the executive of the Auckland Bowling Club were the guests of- the president of the Remuera Club, Mr. E..E. Daniels, yesterday afternoon, when a match, four teams aside, was played. Mr. Daniels welcomed the visitors and emphasised the value of such meetings in fostering a fraternal spirit between the clubs, and furthering the social side of the game. Mr. E. A. Craig, president of the Auckland Club, replied, and expressed the hope that such gathering's would be held annually. The green was in excellent condition, and an interesting contest resulted. Each club won two games, but Remuera won on the aggregate, scoring 86 against Auckland’s 73. Following are the scores, Remuera names first:
