A USEFUL SORT

White Stranger, winner of the Teviotdale two-mile trot at Amberley on Saturday, is a powerful grey gelding by Denver Huon from a mare by the thoroughbred stallion Lord of the Isles. He outstayed a good field, registering an improvement of over 13sec on his handicap. White Stranger is owned and trained by R. Hart, who raced Wild Duck, dam of that good unhoppled pacer Don Wild.
