WOMAN FLYER KILLED

PLANE CRASHES NEAR MASCOT PILOT IN SERIOUS STATE Reed. 10.30 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. An Air Force pilot, Mr. Rex Walker, aged 25, was doing the last of a series of joy flights on Saturday when his Moth airplane crashed from a height of 400 ft near the Mascot airdrome. Mr. Walker, with concussion and severe abrasions, is in a serious condition. His passenger, Mrs. Birnie, died from a fracture of the skull, without regaining consciousness.
